Public transportation
Warsaw has one of the best public transportation systems in Europe. You will easily find your route with Google maps. Near the campus, there are multiple bus and tram stops and a metro station (Ratusz-Arsenał).

Where to buy tickets? There are many ticket machines in close proximity of public transit stations. Typically, the machines are also available inside buses and trams – when you enter a bus or tram, you need to immediately approach the machine to purchase a ticket to avoid any troubles with ticket controls.

Airports
Warsaw has two international airports serving the city – Chopin airport and Modlin airport.

Chopin Airport (WAW) is the main airport in Warsaw, as well as the largest airport in Poland. It is located about 10 kilometers south of the city center, which means it is in the city, with bus stops right in front of the airport building (there is no airport fare; standard ticket rates apply).

Modlin Airport (WMI) is another Warsaw international airport located 40 kilometers northwest of the city. There are dedicated airport buses connecting the airport with a railway station. Then, the railway brings you to the city center.

Railway: Central Station
The Central Railway Station (Warszawa Centralna) is located in the central part of the city, from which you can comfortably reach by public transport all districts of Warsaw.
The distance between the Central Station and our venue is around 2 km. It is a nice walk, but you can also take public transit (bus, tram, or metro) to get to the faculty.

Weather
The weather conditions in Poland in September vary from tolerable to perfect depending on the year. In that time of a year, typically, there is a noticeable difference between day and evening/night temperatures. You need to be prepared for (very) warm daytime temperatures oscillating around 20-25°C, minimum night-time temperatures around 9°C, and moderate rainfall. It is a good idea to bring a jacket and an umbrella, but also some summer clothes.
